From Hospital Floors to Training Halls: My Journey as a Healthcare Trainer

Every career begins with uncertainty, but in healthcare, each step teaches you something about life itself.

When I look back on my journey, I realize how every experience, every challenge, and every person I met in the hospital helped shape who I am today.

After completing my MBA in Hospital Administration, I stepped into my career full of dreams — and a little nervousness too. Entering a hospital environment for the first time was both exciting and intimidating. Each day brought new challenges — unexpected situations, patient concerns, and the constant responsibility of keeping everything running smoothly.

There were moments when I doubted myself, when certain situations felt too overwhelming to handle. But with the grace of God, I found the strength to face them one by one. Over time, I learned not only how hospitals function but also how to stay calm, think clearly, and respond with compassion — even when things didn’t go as planned

During my postings, I worked across various departments — front office, public relations, conferences, and administration. Each role taught me something unique. The front office taught me patience and effective communication. The PRO role taught me diplomacy and empathy. Administrative work strengthened my leadership and decision-making skills.

Most importantly, I built wonderful relationships along the way — with doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals, and patients. These relationships made my work deeply meaningful. Even today, when I visit hospitals, I often meet familiar faces who remember me with a smile. It reminds me that kindness and sincerity always leave lasting impressions.

After several years in hospital service, my journey took a new direction — training and mentoring future healthcare professionals. Becoming a trainer was a turning point in my life. I realized that sharing knowledge is another form of service. Today, as part of a reputed hospital administration course institute in Kochi, I continue to share my real-world experience with aspiring healthcare professionals, helping them build strong foundations for their future careers.

My students have become a special part of my journey — their enthusiasm, respect, and success make me proud every single day.

Now, whenever someone in my family falls ill, I often find care and support through my students or old colleagues. That’s the beauty of working in healthcare — the bonds we create often return to us in unexpected and heartwarming ways.
